How this calculation works
Between adjacent records: change = later odometer − earlier odometer; rate per year = change ÷ (year difference). A negative change is flagged for follow-up.
Worked example
Records 2020: 40,000 km, 2022: 65,000 km, 2024: 59,000 km produce a −6,000 km discrepancy from 2022 to 2024.
