Browser calculations

Calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. This release does not require accounts or submit calculator values to our server. Your country selection may be saved in browser local storage for convenience and can be cleared in your browser settings.

Basic website logs

As with most websites, our web server may log the time of a request, IP address, user agent and requested resource for security and operational troubleshooting. Retention and access should be controlled by the site operator under the applicable hosting configuration.

External links and advertising

Links to government and other external websites are governed by their own policies. Advertising integrations are prepared but disabled by default. If the operator activates Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertisements, subject to their policies and applicable consent requirements. No ad scripts are loaded while advertising is disabled. US model recall requests are validated and sent server-side to NHTSA; we cache query results for up to 12 hours and rate-limit requests using a pseudonymized representation of requester IP. Queries may appear in the server access log. Do not submit a VIN or identifying personal information in these search fields.
