How this calculation works
Liters required = distance in km × (L/100 km) ÷ 100. Estimated fuel cost = liters required × price per liter.
Worked example
A 250 km drive at 7 L/100 km uses 17.5 L. At 1.50 per liter, fuel costs 26.25 in the selected currency.
