Tire pressure (TPMS) warning
Driver guidance · CAUTION — symbol color, meaning and urgency can differ by vehicle
What the symbol may mean
At least one tire may be underinflated, or the tire-pressure monitor itself may have a fault.
What to do now
Reduce speed, stop safely and inspect tires. Check cold pressures against the vehicle placard. Do not continue on a visibly damaged or flat tire.
What a technician may check
Inspect tire condition and pressure; determine if the TPMS needs recalibration or repair.
Always follow the exact vehicle handbook; colored lamps and warning behavior vary across models. A serious vehicle fault should not be cleared or driven through without inspection.
